Live by the sword, die by the sword

I like the sound

How am I standing, this is all so absurd

Death’s cloud is hanging all around

Another swing, another one hits the ground

They lay around me creating a mound

I fall to a knee, looking for a grace that can’t be found

Slowly I rise for by duty I am bound

To slay, those who threaten

The life that I had found

My arm shakes, they surround me

Looking down I am confound

Blood is seeping, from a wound hidden
