My journey started from the planet Earth: A place with inhabitation. Earth has the only living organisms for light years. Scientist from Earth spent millions of dollar and many years to get a bigger concept of space. One day a scientist telescope was accidentally move over an inch. He thought: what is the point of changing it back it was only stars. But something was different with this view. A round object was right in the middle.
After many years of observing this round shape they found it was a planet that has not been recorded yet. They then set a satellite out to take pictures but the planet was gone. The satellite looked to the outer rims of the Milky Way. So it was a huge phenomenon. This part is where I come in.
I was a post collage graduate for science. I had suffered the USA's 3045 depression. I was laid from my job. I was just about to get into bed when I received a call.
“Hello, Phoenix?” a raspy voice said into my ear.
“This is him may I ask who is calling.” I replied and I looked at the number. It was a 2-456 number. That meant it was from a science department. I frowned.
“Oh well I am a representative of I.A.A.S.D. I am calling because you signed up for training.” The voice sounded very familiar.
“No? I do not know what the I.A.A.S.D. is.” I said but I heard the person laugh. I was infuriated. I did not know who this person was and they were laughing at me. I am not a fool.
“It stands for International Air and Space Department. You signed up about a year ago. We have looked over all the applications of the program and you are one of the three to go into the training!” the person said as if I won the lottery.
“The astronaut training? I forgot I signed up for that.” My anticipation was growing.
"Why yes. I am calling you at this hour because you have been accepted into the program." The voice started to lighten up. "You are requested at the Iron Nail at 3pm tomorrow to be taken to the training area" Before I could ask a question or reply the person hung up.
I was filled with joy. I got out of bed and went to the computer. I map quested The Iron Nail. It was in Las Angles that was ten hours away. I had elven hours. Without hesitation i took off my clothes and jumped into the shower. It took me a half an hour. But i was ready. I looked into the mirror. My blood red hair was a mess. I combed it down and brushed my teeth. My pale skin blended in with the toothpaste foam.
I put on a nice blue dress shirt that had red stripes that matched my hair. I put black dress pants on and left my room. I lived in a small apartment so it was nothing nice. I made a cup of Hot Chocolate. As I waited for the water to heat up I looked for my keys. I spent five minutes and I found them in my jacket which I also needed. I grabbed my Hot Chocolate and went out the door and locked it. I went to the garage and I got into my car. I started the engine. I turned the heat off because it was freezing.
I was nervous. I pressed the garage door opener button and I pulled out. At 5am my adventure begins!
