*One of these days I'm going to drop all the walls and restraints I put on myself and let my true nasty and defensive self emerge. I don't like it when people make fun of others because of their appearance or background. I don't like it when people talk about others behind their backs. I can't trust people that do that, it makes me wonder what they say about me when I'm not there.

Someone on my speech team decided Asian people can't say anything in English except "DDR." So when someone who appears to have an Asian appearance goes up to receive an award that guy on my team says in a high-pitched voice "DDR! DDR! Pika-pikachu!!" I came close to punching him. I will admit, I laughed. I thought it was funny until I figured out he was actually mocking the Asian girls standing up on stage.

Then there is a girl with a mole. Not just a mole, a MOLE. Even though that isn't her fault, it doesn't stop us from making fun of her. Numerous people on my speech team have done small improv pieces about her, none of which are flattering. I am guiltier here, for I encourage this. I wish I would stop being so cruel, but I'm afraid I can't. I think I'm balancing out my ridiculously nice nature with malicious streaks. It's the only way I can stay sane, I believe . . .*
