Hmmph... It's April aready...

Well, March ended on a sour note. Well, at least in the weather terms, anyway.

But at least I wasn't watching TV. There's a friggin' media circus that's going about with the death of Terri Schiavo. Well, there wasn't much choice left in the case, but somehow I think this will leave a bad taste in some people's mouths for a while. As for me, though, let's just get on with our lives and stop paying attention.

Now, for that, you may go ahead an call me a heartless b*****d. But before you go and say such a thing, let's understand that we have all seen death in a family one way or another. I, for example, was a paul bearer in my grandmother's funeral. To be honest, I did my fair share of crying then. But am I gonna shed any more tears for what happened just hours ago? Probably not, but that still doesn't mean I do in fact grieve for the family that lost one of their own. But what pisses me off about the whole deal is that the media has eaten this case up so much, it makes me sick just looking at it. Terri was eventually going to die anyway, so now can we just get on with our lives?!

Yes, I am an American. I'm entitled to my opinions as any other person should be. Will you hate me for what I wrote? Go ahead. I don't care, but you'll look at yourself later and see how bigoted you really are.

Anyway, change of topic...

As I was saying, it's April already. And that means Spring has really started to spring. What's also hard to believe is that it was 2004 just a while ago, and WHAM, here we are in the year 2005. Time sure is moving fast, huh?

It's just too bad that time doesn't slow down.

Well, at least for some people, it is.

Anyway, as for what happened to me today...

Hmmph... I wish I could think of what happened to me today.

I'm somehow reminded of that one quote from Stephen King's "Dreamcatcher". And that quote is "SSDD... Same s**t, Different Day."

That's how it is with me plenty of times before.

You're usually the first person anyone suspects when an anonymous practical joke occurs, and for good reason. You just love that kind of thing, and since today is April Fools' Day, you've probably got at least one good one up your sleeve. Do yourself a favor, though -- don't do anything too irritating. You wouldn't want to end up alone on a Friday night because of a whoopee cushion.
