alright 4/15/07 its like 1200 midnight. my dad is doing taxes, im working on a java program (the likes of which would drive a lesser man insane) for one of my college classes. my girlfriend sarah is over just hanging out. i have been trying to get her to leave because the sooner she leaves the better i can concentrate on programming and the faster my happy butt can go to sleep. problem is that when i ask politely, she doesnt leave, but if i ask less than politely she would probably get offended and i dont want that. well my dad periodically walks by the door to my room which has to stay open by his decree. he grunts, he says things like:"doesnt she have school in the morning." and no she doesnt, but i do! well i finish the program at like 12:15. i had been working since about 8:30. sarah feels this means that i will pay attention to her a little bit now. at this point i was frustrated cause i just wanted sleep. my dad is irritated because he wants quite so he can do the taxes. sarah is irritated because she came over to spend some time with me and im afraid it just didnt work out like that. my dad walks in and takes the keys to the truck. this is my ride to school in the morning. it is a 2001 ford F-150 and it has a comfortable interior, air conditioning, and an awesome radio. i wake up in the morning because i get to drive this truck, and my dad just took the keys. now ill tell you about the fall back vehicle. its an 86 ford crown vic station wagon. the internal electric components don't work, that is no radio, no air/heater, no blinker, no windshield wipers. the only thing electrical that does seem to work is the headlights. PLUS, i have to go out to the truck at 1200 friggin o clock at night to get all my stuff and move it to the station wagon. in the midst of this turn of events sarah leaves. thankfully she waited until just after i had my keys taken away, maybe she got the picture i dont know. anyway i spent about a half hour getting all the stuff out of the truck into the station wagon and making sure the thing would actually start because i wouldnt have time to do that kind of thing at 6:00 when i have to go to school. then at about 5:00 in the morning my dad walks into my room, hands me the key to the truck, and walks back out. i got a full 4 hours of sleep and i was late for class. argh
4/18/07 no sleep last night. tonight im going home early to get some sleep so i can get up at 5:00 in the morning. i plan on going home around 8:00 get a nice shower and go to bed around 9:00. well my dad calls me at about 6:00 and tells me to come home so i can get to sleep. this irks me alot. i try to explain that i do need sleep and ill be home at a decent hour. he has none of that. long argument later im home at about 6:30. i chill/fume for a little while and at 7:00 my dad says he needs some help. so now we see the real reason he wanted me home. i cook cornbread and red beans and rice the rest of the night. see he volunteered to provide lunch for some special occasion at work, or more specifically he volunteered me. i finally got to sleep at 11:00 cause i was up making a GIANT VAT of red beans and rice. i dont feel i need to be anymore specific. i would just like to say that he needs to fulfill his own obligations or he can start writing my FREAKIN java programs.
5/27/07 i stayed late at michaels house. i told my dad i would be home at 2 in the morning. i fell asleep and woke up at 3 in the morning. i go outside to see that my car is gone. not the truck. not the property of my dad. MY CAR is gone and his truck is in its place, which i dont have the key too. i would have had to walk home at 3 in the morning but thankfully my girlfriend gave me a ride. i get home and my mom and dad are sitting on the front porch(my mom is not usually crazy) and my dad rides his bike back to pick up his truck. my mom quoted says to my dad "we'll talk about your behavior in the morning." i can only assume that he kept her up all night. go mom
