Ever feel that life is a joke? Or that your roleplay is cheesy, overdone, overexpressed, untalented? Well.. here's what happens when I make a comment to my friend about it bein' like a bad SciFi program. My mind wanders and we get a script like this:
-On board the Starship Enterprise- *siren sounds followed by shaking of the camera*
Kirk: Mister Sulu, REPORT!
Sulu: We seem to be having difficulties with the storyline.. I think that--
*Computer voice breaks in*WARNING WARNING! INCOMING PLOT COMPLICATIONS!
*Kirk opens up comlink with engine room*
Kirk: Kirk to engine room, Scotty, report!
*garbled voice followed by pan to smoking engine room*
Scotty: Scott here, Cap'n.
*pan back to bridge*
Kirk: What's our status?
*pan back to engine room, nameless crewmember goes flying back from fried circuitboard*
Scotty: Aye, cap'n. We got ourselves a twist bigger'n the world's largest bavarian pretzel, we jus' can' take any more cap'n! It's like a cheap anime down 'ere it is! We've been overrun by.. AAAAAAAGH!!
*comlink dies*
Kirk screams in dead mic: Scotty! Scott! What's going on down there!
*pan back to engine room, overrun with cheesy plots and bad spelling. Ship crashes soon thereafter, throwing roleplayers all over the chatterbox.*
*booming voice*
TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR ANOTHER EPISODE OF.... *ruffling pages, small voice "where's the script? Ah screw it.." Footsteps, door, running, engine starting, squealing tires*
