Inuyasha- That Unfaithful Day
"NARAKU!!!! YOU WILL DIE HERE AND NOW!!!" Inuyasha yelled holding up what at first looked like a rusty sword, but once Inuyasha pulls the sword out it is the most destructive weapon. He brought up the sword called Tetsaiga and Adaments formed onto it. Inuyasha had a piercing death glare in his eyes as he was about to yell. "ADAMENT---" "I wouldn't do that if I were you Inuyasha," the fierce demon called Naraku, with long black hair, purple vest, dark purple almost navy blue kind of like yukata, black socks, and sandals. Also Naraku isn't really a demon, he's a half demon, because he was once a human theif named Onigumo whom then fed his soul to the demons in exchange for the demons' power, and then became Naraku. Naraku is made up of millions of different little demons. Inuyasha glared and thought for a moment. Naraku then opened up his clenched hand showing the head of an arrow. It was none other then the Priestess Kikyou's arrow! Kikyou was once a priestess whom Inuyasha secretly loved a long time ago. Inuyasha agreed to use the Sacred Jewel to become a human instead of a full fledged demon. The Sacred Jewel is a powerful jewel that can give even a human the most power in the whole world. It can even turn a Half Demon or a Hanyou into a full fledged demon or a human. When Inuyasha came to meet Kikyou at dawn she wasn't there. Inuyasha was confused at this point and looked around just to see Kikyou standing there with an arrow. "DIE HALF-BREED!!" she yelled as she shot a regular arrow towards Inuyasha. Inuyasha dodged the arrow and ran toward the village. Although it wasn't Kikyou, it was in fact Naraku disguised as Kikyou. At this time that Inuyasha was going back to the village Kikyou came with the jewel in her hand. 'Maybe he's late,' she thought as suddenly Inuyasha came up behind Kikyou and clawed her across her back injuring her fatally. "Heheheh, and you thought I would become human!? How foolish!!" Inuyasha yelled as stepped on Kikyou's hand. "I'll take the Sacred Jewel, thanks," he said taking the jewel and running away. "Traitor... TRAITOR!!!" Kikyou yelled unable to move. In fact that wasn't Inuyasha that did all that though, that was Naraku playing the same trick, but as disguised as Inuyasha. As Naraku went to the village putting the sacred jewel back and getting the villagers all ticked off he quickly left. The real Inuyasha came through the village and the villagers stared in horror. "AHH IT'S INUYASHA!!!" they screamed as arrows were shot. Inuyasha easily dodged these going into the hut and grabbing the sacred jewel leaving as the hut was burned down. As he came back and ran through the trees with the jewel, a sacred arrow was shot through his chest and at the tree. Inuyasha was pinned to the tree, and he was confused. 'W-why Kikyou? I thought we...' he thought as he slowly drifted off into a long slumber. Kikyou then fell to her death. So in fact, Inuyasha never actually did something to harm Kikyou, but Kikyou harmed Inuyasha. A long period of time after that (more then 50 years) Kikyou's soul was brought back into a body made out of clay by a witch named Urasue who was soon killed. Kikyou still held a grudge against Inuyasha, but Inuyasha still had feelings for her. Inuyasha gasped in horror as he saw the arrow head, Kikyou's scent still fresh off of it. "WHERE IS SHE?! WHERE'S KIKYOU?!?!?!" he yelled ticked off. Kagome sighed sadly, she always thought to herself that Inuyasha loves Kikyou more then her, even though that that is not true. Naraku laughed evilly in Inuyasha's anger towards him. Inuyasha shot a death glare and growled until he smelled a familiar scent. "K-Kikyou!!" he yelled looking at the priestess. The priestess walked slowly toward the top of the cliff as the wind blew her hair away from her face. She completely ignored Inuyasha as she drew her bow and an arrow from her pouch. Kikyou slowly took the arrow and brung it and the string of the bow back towards her, the arrow facing Naraku with the wooden part of the bow. "NARAKU!!" she yelled from the cliff as the arrow started to glow a brighter purple each second with more and more spiritual power. Naraku shook his head in disappointment. "Kikyou, jumping to quick conclusions are we?" he asked with a slight smirk. "Heheheh." The arrow was shot, but it was not aiming at Naraku, it was aiming at the water behind, but why? Naraku was in the way of the arrow, but Inuyasha was in the path of it. Inuyasha jumped out of the way and wondered what happened. 'Kikyou, did she just try to kill me? It must've been a mistake!' he thought as he looked at Kikyou confused. She only looked at him slightly, but her attention was all focused on Naraku. Naraku easily was going to grant her wish. He flew up with the barrier around him towards the priestess. Kikyou got an arrow out and ready to shoot Naraku, but something was holding her back. She couldn't move her legs to dodge out of the way, and while she shot the arrow, she missed and it fell to the ground next to Kagome. Kagome grabbed the arrow and the bow she had been holding, and then stood in the same posistion as Kikyou had with her bow and arrow. She closed her eyes and then looked at Naraku with hatred. Then she shot the arrow with great spiritual energy almost exactly like Kikyou's. Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyou, she had the jewel inside of her, and also being the reincarnation of Kikyou she is able to travel from her world to the feudal era, also she has spiritual powers exactly like Kikyou's. Naraku grabbed Kikyou off the ground and the demon hands connected to Naraku that were grabbing ahold of the priestess came back and attatched itself back onto Naraku. The arrow that Kagome shot went by Naraku's hair giving it a little sway. "Oh no!" she yelled as she started to run. Inuyasha wanted to run, and he was going to, but the thought stood in his mind. 'Did Kikyou really try to kill him?' Suddenly he snapped out of it by the thought of Naraku stabbing a knife through Kikyou's heart. Inuyasha jumped to his feet and ran up the cliff as fast as the speed of light. He ran passed Kagome and the wind brushed up Kagome and she lost balance falling to the ground. Inuyasha ran toward Kikyou and Naraku with great intention of killing. "NARAKU LET HER GO DAMN IT!!!" he yelled ticked off. Naraku just smirk as he took a bone from his armor made out of other animals' bones and he took it aiming at Kikyou's heart. Miroku and Sango were flying on the transformed form of Kirara and flew by Kagome. They picked up Kagome and they all flew toward where Inuyasha was. Kagome held her hand to her chin and was scared for a moment. "What if Naraku really killed Kikyou? What would happen then? Would Inuyasha then ignore me and leave?" these thoughts traveled through Kagome's mind and frightened her much. Inuyasha ran toward Naraku and Naraku slowly cut Kikyou with the bone slightly. The blood of Kikyou slowly dripped down her body and started to cover the bone. Inuyasha took out his tetsaiga and raised it up high. "WIND---" he started yelling until Kagome stopped him. "Don't Inuyasha! If you do any attacks with the tetsaiga you'll kill Kikyou also!!" she exclaimed worried. Inuyasha was about to argue, but then he realized she was right and he couldn't argue. He then thought to himself of what he could do, then he decided. Inuyasha ran towards Naraku and jumped up high. "If I can kick Naraku, then maybe I can catch Kikyou!!" he thought as he held out his foot to kick Naraku. Miroku knew he couldn't use his wind tunnel cause he'll take in Kikyou as well. Sango couldn't use her weapon cause she'll injure Kikyou fatally, and with Naraku's damage she'll die. Kagome couldn't shoot an arrow, because then she'll end up killing Kikyou as well. Kirara would hurt Kikyou, but get hurt by Naraku, and Shippo would just end up getting hurt by Naraku. All of them knew the drawbacks on these options and they couldn't change it. They had no other choice but to stand and watch hoping Kikyou will go alive. As Inuyasha kicked Naraku, he only got reflected by the barrier as Naraku flew up higher. Dodging the useless attack Naraku pushed the bone in through Kikyou's throat. She then regained consciousness for a milisecond just to cough up blood, and then slowly, painfully, died. Inuyasha landed on the ground, on his feet, and his eyes were without feeling. His eyes were bold and golden, but even more bold then before. It seemed as though he was not controlling himself, but he was in control. He fell to the ground, and wouldn't move. It seemed as though his body lost control... and he couldn't move. There was too much sorrow in him to move. He then slowly got up how he could and glared at Naraku with death this time. "You, you b*****d you, NARAKU YOU WILL DIE HERE AND NOW!!!" he yelled as loud as he could that it made Kagome almost lose her balance. Kagome looked at Kikyou's dead body lying on the ground. "K-Kikyou... how could.. you... die?" she thought to herself with sorrow. Miroku, Sango, and the others all stood silent. Inuyasha with rage in his eyes held up his tetsaiga with adaments attatched and no drawbacks then yelled. "ADAMENT BARRAGE!!!!" "KIRARA MOVE!!!" Miroku yelled as Kirara flew away and Kagome grabbed onto Shippo holding him tightly so he wouldn't fall. Sango held onto Miroku and Miroku just sat still as Kirara quickly flew away from the battle scene. Thye adaments flew at Naraku and through the barrier into Naraku. Naraku quickly retreated by disappearing into the darkness. "GET BACK HERE NARAKU!!!!" he yelled and felt his body growing weak. It seemed as though he has lost and he fell to his knees, then fell to the side hitting the ground. He just lied on the ground and closed his eyes, wishing none of this would've happened. Kagome and the other looked at him with sorrow in their eyes. She thought she could talk to him and make him better, but that would just harm. Miroku put a hand on Kagome's shoulder. "Kagome, I can asure you, that Inuyasha always comes around, but I dunno about this, Kagome, Shippo, Sango, I don't think we should bother Inuyasha... I think he just wants to be alone for a while," Miroku said sternly. "Yes I agree," Sango said nodding. Shippo and Kagome also nodded. Sango then told Kirara to turn around and they flew away. As they were flying away, Kagome turned and looked at the small figure of Inuyasha in the distance. She held out her hand as if trying to reach for him, she reached farther, and farther out into the distance. Until Kagome was just about to fall off if Sango didn't catch her and bring her back in time. "I don't think we should just leave him like that..." Kagome said with a depressed tone. "Kagome, Inuyasha usually wants to be alone, and this is probably the biggest thing he wants to be alone on," Miroku said. Unfortunately Kagome knew he was right and nodded. Inuyasha put his hand and rubbed it against the soil. His hands were filthy and filled with dirt, but he looked up at the dark night sky. Seeing the dark grey clouds float by he wished he wasn't him. Inuyasha closed his eyes, but no freedom came. The turn of those horrible events replayed in his mind over and over again. Kikyou's death, Inuyasha thought that would never come. His eyes were filled with sorrow, and were glassy with the sadness in his heart. "I-I didn't, didn't pro-protect her... I couldn't... I should've...why'd she have to die!? Damn Naraku... no... it's my fault...if I would've just tried harder... maybe she'd still be living... what do I do now? Just lie here?" Inuyasha asked himself as he looked to his left seeing no trace of his friends. "They left... maybe if I'm lucky... I could just... stay here... forever... why'd... why'd Kikyou have to die? What am I saying?! I'm just going to lie here?!?!? I have to go kill Naraku!!! And avenge Kikyou!!!! But-but... she's dead..." Inuyasha continued as he looked back up at the sky then slowly got up. His feet felt the cold ground and he got into the posistion of running. Inuyasha then started running as fast as he could, faster then ever before. The thought of Kikyou being dead got his emotions all worked up, and it seemed to have made him have a total stamina boost, making him run ten times as fast.
