There is a certain inability to control, to foretell, to comprehend, which prevents the human mind from making the right choices, from saying the right words. A tiny indicting inflection, a fluttered variable of a vowel, a diminished dipthong, flips butterfly wings, by fate-scorned chance, to Hurrikan's child. Simile and synonym, allusion, implication; out of reach for the speaker, controlled by the listener, the watcher. Tiny movements, invisible; an eye twitch becomes a scream, a grimace a frown. Truth turns to lie at a moment's notice, depending on the way the light caught your eye, on how your light caught their eye, or whether a passing bird obscured a word. Try as you might, switch, deflect, reflect, compel, the unutterable or the mute or both slipped through and you're left with what you shouldn't have done like you did, but the necessity was there, even though ten minutes later it turns out you fabricated. You had to communicate. The insufferable, immutable drive to vocalize, to act. How long will it be before I kill someone because a drop of saltwater fell wrong?
If only the puppets could feel the nerves in my fingertips, everything would be so much easier.
Manipulation always works out in the end. Sweat, toil, rephrase, rage; their cards are barefaced and they're not watching, but if your palms are sweaty, you send the entire hand fluttering to the ground, irreperable damage done. However, how quickly can you pick them up? Barring that, agility can step aside, on occasion, to make way for obdurate stealth. You can twist and play the diplomacy, if you have to; ignore the fact that what you've seen can make them writhe with the knowledge of knowledge. Eventually, it works out, but for how long are you playing without a full deck?
If only the tar on that envelope didn't stick to my fingertips, everything would be so much easier.

I know this looks like I stole the subject, but I really didn't... it just sort of happened neutral

...and I have no idea if what I just said made any sense. I ramble.
