*Takes a deep breath* Where to start? Well lets see I thought that the job I'd gotten at JC Pennys was going to be permanent, but as it turns out they'd just kept the seasonal people a week or two longer than the cut off date. It really is quite funny when you consider that the day after I found all this out for certain I got the letter in the mail that details what benefits are available to JC penney employees. Now that actually made me laugh.
I can't get mad, nor do I even feel mad about the whole situation since I saw the possibilty was there; well that and the manager was so damn nice about it when he told me, I find myself incapable of being upset. On the bright side I now have some work experience under my belt and finding a new job shouldn't be too difficult. I'm also relieved to say that I managed my money carefully enought that I have enough to survive a couple months while I look. Oh and I finally swallowed my fears and got a bank account.
While I can't say for certain that I feel like an adult or not, I can say that even w/ a setback like this, I still really like being on my own and independant, well not counting the fact that I do have a roomate who helps a lot, but overall I'm on my own here and I like it. It also helps a great deal that my dad found a job and that's such a huge weight off my shoulders that I can't even begin to describe my relief.
For those of my friends who may have been wondering what in the world I've been up to, job hunting and doing school work are the main things taking up my time, so if you wanna get a hold of me call frequently, I'm bound to answer back. 3nodding
Take care everyone and I send my dearest affections to my friends. Signing off,
Yume

Anywho, I'm proud of you; you're the most independant one in the crew (not counting Dasher, he was the first, if you can call his subsistant life independance), which is something I'm going to have to do in the near future. Frankly, it scares the crap outta me, but I know that it's something I'm going to have to do.
And, as if I haven't said this enough, congrats on the new job. I'm very proud of you. I mean, you found a new job in roughly a week/week and a half. Of course, you do know that I'm going to have to start levying B/f taxes now, right?
