The dreaded parents of the barbarian children horde came today. wanting conferences on a non-conference day. Just to let you know, Back to School Night is NOT the time to find out how your little snot nosed brat is doing in class. The time for that is during a parent conference.
Personally I think Back to School Night needs to be abolished. We, as teachers, don't get paid for being there. Many parents don't show up. It's a total waste of time.
