What's Gaia's swearing policy? *confuzzled*
Oh, well. I'll try to stay on the safe side just in case. ^^;
I hate, when I'm nearing the end of a torrent download, the one and only peer connection I have just starts flaking out on me. Seriously. While he doesn't have all the pieces I need, he's apparently getting them from someone else... when I'm not there. I know this because I've closed and reopened BitTorrent a few times, after waiting ~15 minutes only to find his % has gone up some.
But as soon as I try to reconnect, boom his downloads screech to a halt, and pretty much blocks all contact with me - I can't download or upload. Which sucks for him too, I guess, seeing as I've got a higher percentage than he does. xp
(If you're wondering, it's a "Garth Brooks - Beyond the Season" CD I'm trying to get. Stuck at 81% for more than an hour! ETA: Figures - now I'm starting to get a bit of movement on this thing. Right after I rant about it. XD)
...Yeah, I'm also a dial-up user, so meh. I'll most likely finish it up tomorrow morning when that (insert colorful noun of choice here! biggrin ) finishes his file overnight and gets the (insert colorful action...noun?/noun of choice here!) out of the network. stressed
