Beacon

You are a beacon, a shining light,
guiding me through crashing waves,
through rocks and crags of an angry sea,
leading me to the calm serenity of a peaceful lagoon.
In your arms a thunderstorm is but a light rain,
your smile bringing joy to a once forgotten heart.
Your eyes, deep pools of mystery and knowledge,
reflecting beauty, intelligence, betraying to me
the love you feel.
Each beat of your heart is echoed in mine,
melting into each-other like a sweet symphony,
two minds, two hearts, two souls crashing together
in a shower of color and emotion

love.
Alone I am average, a dull monotony of action
repeated day in and day out,
