As the crystal bore into my hand I could feel myself changing. I didn’t stop it, though, because I felt it giving me power, desirable power. I had never felt such magnitude of power, but it was mine now. My eyes were no longer those caring pools of brown; they were now dark endless pools of black with a faint glow of red. My smile faded and a smirk replaced it. My clothes no longer had bright vivid clothes, yet a black to match my eyes. The red flames on my pants changed into a dark, mysterious purple. I became circled with dark, black and dark purple flames instead of my usual red and orange ones. My evil self laughed. Jason was shivering with fear now. Maxx was gaping; he had never seen my blood-thristy state and now he saw the evil state I was in. I gripped Jason by the collar again and threw him as hard as I could, sending him into a wall, splintering the ice. I laughed again, this time harder. Realizing he was defeated, Jason dissolved the cage trapping Maxx. Instead of checking on Lee Ann’s safety, he faced me. I had never seen him so serious. He looked at me as if he had to fight me, but didn’t really want to. I stared at his stupidity with my cruel eyes.
“Look, dragon, I have your pathetic crystal.” I cruelly laughed, “And now there’s nothing you can do to stop me from taking all the others.”
“I don’t want to do this, but it looks like I’ll have to fight you.” Maxx sternly said. I laughed again.
Before I could say anything, a bright light flashed in the corner of the room. When the light faded, Zaku appeared. He seemed utterly surprised, but not too broken up about it. He obviously thought I was dead, but I was now standing before him, evil and corrupted. This brought a smile to his wicked face. “Ah, Sora, tell me. After you’re done with this wimp, come and join the dark forces with me.” Zaku hissed.
I replied, “Certainly.”
