I just came back from a mission trip to the Gulf Coast for a week. We worked for 3 and a half days, turning a damaged, runned-down, Day Care to a newly painted, fence straighted, and beautiful sight. The owner even got calls telling her how excited they were to see the Day Care in such good shape. One day, we went down to Orleans, Lousianna. Destruction was as far as the eye could see except for a few streets.
And get this: the only form of help those people are getting in the Gulf Coast aren't from the government; it's from volunteers.Just goes to show you how much the government really cares about us. Especially the ones who need help the most in this country.
