Well this weekend I had Region Band instead of Oni-Con, but that's OK! Because I made first chair out of the entire Region in percussion! I'm sooooooo happy! YAY! 3nodding 3nodding Well, Li got me a KH poster at Oni! THANK YOU
SOOOOO MUCH! I can't wait to see it! I also can't wait to see the pics! hugs and hugs to neonalchemist everyone! YAY! blaugh Well...I made up a poem this weekend wanna hear it? Here it is! The Penny...

The Penny
I was walking along the sidewalk, and to my great surprise
I saw a small penny almost at it's demise.
He shrieked and yelled in the gutter he lay
I turned away from the scene of dismay.
But as I left I quickly thought,
How sad the penny must feel, since I left without a talk.
I walked back to him and picked him up
And then I dropped him into my cup.
The clear water I had instantly turned brown,
Yet the penny's frown seemed to turn upside-down.
The dirt, muck, and who-knows-what dissolved off
and left the penny shiny as a celebrity is toff.
I took him out and was surprised again
I saw that he wasn't American!
His face had a leaf that was from a maple tree
And I realized that this could mean only one thing,
What a strange day, I thought, I'd give it a ten
For you see this penny was Canadian.
As I returned home from work he smiled at me
I smiled back and then said, Gee
I wonder how you got into that sewer,
It seems you couldn't find any place "pewer".
Now he lays quietly on a shelf
And although he's not pelf,
He shines like a lightning bug when the sun hits him just right,
He blinks silently and will shine on us others.
I learned not to judge people by a cover
But to put them in "water" and let themselves sit
Eventually they come out with it,
",You are my friend, and I am yours together we are unseperable.
In the darkest of darks and the lightest of lights
You are there for me whether day, or night."
