As the sickness wins
As I glare down at the earth
A sinful angel that hath clipped its wings own
I curse the day my mother gave birth
To this solitary monster, walking these nights alone
If only I were stronger
More equipped to handle the pain
Our love would have lasted longer
For once I dance in the darkness and enjoy the rain
As my foot slips,
I feel myself plummet down, down, down
Accelerating perpetually
Thou art surprised I bear no frown?
Sorrow eats at my heart
Ice burns holes in my soul
My feet firmly hit the ground
In losing myself I saved me from falling apart
I walk into the church,
Begging, repenting for my misdeeds
I smell the blood of an innocent
I tried to run, but evil has planted its seed
I pursue the juices of this purity
To cleanse the filth within my core
So I may recall what it was like to be human
Before I became this blood whore
When will this madness be over?
When shall the real me begin?
This lust lasts on for as long as lights burn,
The sickness within me wins
