~Radetsky, 2000-September 16, 2006~
I was watching my cousin Pauls rabbit Radetsky and today he had a stroke and had to be put down. This Journal entry is for him.....
He was a mostly black rabbit, he had some stray white hairs on his face near his cute little nose. His ears stood strait up and he loved being held, his owner Paul loved him like a son. Paul use to work in the circus and they had a snake act, well they needed to feed the snake a live rabbit. But the rabbit got away and hid under Pauls trailer, paul got him out and told the people not to feed the rabbit to the snake. And thats were paul and radetsky's relationship began...Radetsky loved other animals, he use to run around the elephaunts and ponies in the circus. He was never scared of any other animal because he was around so much, the two traveled around the world togeather and had fun. Radetsky use to sleep with Paul, sharing the same pillow and wake up at the same time. But then paul had to take a job on a cruse ship and he couldnt take Radetsky, and at the last minute the person who was going to take care of him backed down. So now it ws either someone took him in or Radetsky got put down right then and there because he was old at that time. And I couldnt let him be put down so i took him in, i loved him like all the other pets I have. I held him and cherished our small but friendly bond...
I know i didnt have the same bond Paul did with Radetsky, but he grew on me. I loved him and he had a stroke today.....please have the time to think about him....
Here are some pictures to help remember that little bunny
