at least the week's over. I hate spirit week. I'm going to wear a five crested kimono with a peacock and bamboo pattern on the hem to homecoming, with a gold abstract wave obi, a red checked obiage, a pale pink underkimono, and a mauve and white striped obijime. I wish I could afford a furisode! I want to hang walls with kimono of all ages and styles, I want to put ancient ornaments of silver and brass in my hair and hear them jingle! I want to be showered in silks, brocades, and jems! but I won't be. men don't give gifts like that anymore even in the geisha districts. damn.
