1. It wasn't fair on the guild captain, Daiku Maryu, to have such an offensive thing in her guild. I knew if I kept it there, it would start a huge flame war, with me on the recieving end.
2. After I posted it, I realised that I didn't need to make a huge rant to justify my opinions to a bunch of people I don't even know. Now you would think that I would not make any more rants because of that, but to be honest, I didn't actually have that much fun writing this one, mainly because I had the disapproval of everyone else in the back of my head.
So here we go again. Like last time, extras in green.
James' Rants Volume Two
Disclaimer Number One: This is only my opinion. I do not have predjudice against homosexuals or fans of yaoi/shonen ai in any way. If you are offended by anything that is said, whether expressed or implied, I am truly sorry. Yes, I know the front page of the guild that we uphold all types of sexual oreintation. Just because I uphold it doesn't mean I have to approve of it, so please don't take this as a personal attack against you or the homosexual or yaoi fan community.
Disclaimer Number Two: The following post may contain some forms of strong language which people may find offensive. If you are the type to be offended by language, discretion is recommend.
Disclaimer Number Three: In the following posts, various quotes are used. If you are one of the people in which I have used a quote of, you will notice I have not credited you with the quote in question, due to the nature of the topic. However if you would like me to include your name, don't hesitate to contact me.
You can tell something is going to offensive it if needs three disclaimers. xd
Okay, so here we go with the second installment of James' rants. As you may have guessed by now, my rants do follow a theme of Beyblade because, after all, this is a Beyblade guild. You may have also noticed that this particular rant does follow a very controversial theme. Like stated in the disclaimer, I am sorry if I should offend anyone. Now onto the rant.
I bet you laughed when you saw the title, but I am deadly serious. You may also think I am mad for attempting to attack all whole internet community, but I like to think that I am informed enough do it. However, due to the nature of such a topic of discussion, it is impossible for me to prove a negative. So instead I have decided to take the examples that people have said in an attempt to prove their love for each other. I am not going to include the names of the people, out of respect for them, as well as common courtesy.
Indeed I was serious. Pairings get on my nerves like nobody's business. Now I have no problem with other people liking them, as long as they don't parade them infront of my face. I only decided to make this rant after I had a long discussion with someone about them. That discussion got my infuriated enough to want to create this rant.
Example One: Although the KaiRei moments in the series are beautiful and heart-touching, it's everything else in the series that makes them shine. The subtle moments where they glance at each other, stand next to each other, and basically finish each other's thoughts.
Now I can see where the person is coming from with this, but this doesn't quite cut it as reason. Tell me, is it possible to care about someone without having to be in love with them? How about your friends. I know that I am not in love with my friends, but I can still care about their well being. That kind of concern usually comes from being around the said person(s) over a long period of time. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Ray and Kai travel together as the Bladebreakers all of the world? I think that that classes as a long enough time.
Example Two: They are like Yin and Yang. Opposites do attract.
First off, that isn't that meaning of Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang are opposite but complimentary forces, such as day and night, or summer and winter. Day and night are joined together by dawn and dusk, like summer and winter are joined by spring and autumn. Also, from my experiences, I think I can safely say that opposites don't attract, or at least not to the same extent as like attracts, unless you are talking in a literal sense about magnetism, but I have a feeling you aren't.
I felt a little bad when I said this. the last few lines that I said always sound really insulting, and I didn't actually intend them to be. I just needed something to round off the paragraph, so I thought that I would go into literal magnetism. Sounds like I'm mocking the original poster. sweatdrop
Example Three: Rei and Kai are very similar in many ways, which serves for a much better understanding of one another.
Is this an inconsistency I see before me? How can they be opposites as stated in example two, but be so similar like as said in example three? Now I think it is fair to guess that these two people do have very different opinions on the two, but still, I think that is a but much.
Who likes a little bit of Shakesphere? That just came out as I wrote it, and I liked it, so I thought that I would keep it in, for a little bit of comic relief.
Now I shall move onto the things in which I think show that they are not likely to be gay. Here is the first.
They are thirteen.
At the age of thirteen, most kids are still fairly oblivious to the workings of sexual intercourse, let alone experimenting with it. Now I know that yaoi does not exclusively apply to sex, but the sexual connotations it has are ubundently clear.
Now I didn't particularly like typing this paragraph out, but to me, it was something that had to be endured to enchance my point. Typing that paragrph did make me a tad uncomfortable though.
Ray has a kid.
I bet you guys were waiting for this one huh? I usually class this as the big one, because of the implications it has. In the manga series (can't remember the specific volume, sorry) Ray has a child named Rin with Mariah. Now you may be thinking that plenty of people have children, and then become homosexual later in their lives. Now whilst that is true, I think it is fair to say that it doesn't happen very often, at least from where I come from.
Ah, The "I win" arguement, and as friend of mine put it. And to be honest, I do agree with him. I think that is the closest thing to conclusive proof that this arguement can have. But then, there aren't many arguements about the justification of the sexual orientation of two fictional characters. sweatdrop
Kai has a Kid
Don't you hate that? I don't. Yes, and the last volume of the Manga, Kai also has a child, with a woman of an undisclosed name. Now if one child doesn't sound like enough, I think two should.
I hope you enjoyed reading this. Now if you want to leave a reply, can I ask that you not flame, because flaming does not achieve anything, and I would hate to have to get moderators, whether they be guild or gaia moderators, involved. I thank you for reading this, because I did put alot of effort into it, and I hope you can be mature enough to appreiciate that.

I won't accept Ray and Kai as gay
