Well as I may have mentioned before I started playing Initial D at the arcade and I have been getting better at racing because of it. I have my card and while the picture on it isn't one I would have picked it's still pretty cool( main character standing in front of his car in the rain) Here's my current stats:
Driver: Yume
Car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII
song: Save Me( okay that's not included on the card, but I thought I'd add it anyway sweatdrop )
I played against Alu and Kain this week and while I didn't beat them I did extremely well for a beginner against a couple of level 2 drivers (the cards show your level based on percentage of success) I even got a tire upgrade. In the race against Alucin I managed to stay on his tail the whole time...for those that don't know that's a helluva lot harder than it sounds to stay in veiw of your opponent.
When I raced against Kain I actually managed to stay w/ him the whole race then, I closed the gap and passed him in the last lap whee ...I didn't get to hold the lead very long on the last or second to last turn before the finish line he got past me and won. burning_eyes I was shocked how close I got to winning. I should mention that when I want to, I can be a very fast learner. 3nodding Well it'll still take a lot of practice before I actually beat my friends in a race, but that's not gonna stop me from giving it my best effort 3nodding
