closed her eyes
asleep at ten
then at twelve AM
she's lost again
deep within her nightmare
wandering around in her underwear
her hoodie hangs down past her waist
soon she knows
she'll have to face
her greatest fear
and then she sheds one hopeless tear
just before
she hits the door
startling herself awake. . .
