One stormy night I found this old abandened home. I walked inside and a saw this young girl. She looked to be about 7 years old. She was dead. She had pale white skin, that was peeling and souless gray eyes. She wore a lovely blue dress and gold locket around her neck. It must be very important, as also her stuffed animal she dragged around. I went over to girl and she started to step back in fear. "Don't be frighten." I told her. "I just want to know your name." "Anastasia Lacey LeDuex." She replied very timidly. "What a pretty name." I said with a smile. "Thank you." She said. "So, how'ld you die?" I asked. The girl looked down with a serious look on her face. "It's painful to say." She said softly. I nodded. "I understand, you don't have to share if you don't want to." I replied. She smiled. "Thank you." As she vansished into thin air. As I looked around I saw some things, a pistol and a note. I picked up the note and gasped in horror it what it said:
Dear Anastasia, Your father and I have been captured by pirates in the area. We will never see you again so here us out. You have no choice but to go live with your great aunt: Clarence. I know she's cruel but there's no other way. We love you forever, Margerette and Andre." Then after I finshed reading it and I looked at the pistol again and gasped. It all made sence now! She didn't want to live with aunt, that much she read, but I guess Anastasia found anouther way: death. Tears started running down my cheeks, "How tragic," I thought, "The poor girl." Suddenly I felt a warm mist around me. I turned around, it was Anastasia. "I told you it was painful." She said. I nodded. "I'm sorry for reading the note, I just had to know what happened." "It's ok," She said with a slight smile, "It's nice to know others understand what happened to me, it's nice to know there's still people out there that still love and care for me." She walked closer to me and hugged me. "I'm glad I have a friend." She smiled as did I.
