this is a poem i wrote not that long ago. This poem i wrote in memory of my nan who passed away a few years back but i still miss her alot!

Why did you have to go,
Why did you have to leave,
Mum said you was just sleeping,
But why wouldn't you wake,

I remember the day quite clearly,
All gathered in the church,
Your carried through the room,
In your big black box,
Your carried through the church,
As i grab my brothers hand.
The tears fall from my eyes,
Right down my face as i think to myself
Why did they take you!

Then we leave the church and head to yours,
But all i want is to go home,
I wish you was still here,
I think about you everyday,
And wish i'd gone too.
