The one thing I hate about the 4th of July, is the way it affects my animals. I had a bunch of friends come over to light off fire works and have a Bar-BQ, and my poor Biskits was so afraid of all the strangers that when I picked him of to have him say hi to ever one , he actually peed on my a little.. O.< he basically tried avoiding all the people, and barked a lot, ten when the fire works started she started getting so freaked out I had to put him in his crate, were she continued to whimper.
My brothers Dog Sepal was here, because his land lord wont let him have her at his apartment, and she was going nuts. I had put her and Mike in my parents room, however that was a bad idea, because the poor girl hates being cooped up so much that she manages to open my parents back door, ((that happens to be blocked my a couch)) and squeeze threw the small opening! I never thought I would see an 80lb. Rottweiler, fit threw a gap less then a foot wide! O.O and of cores that wasn’t the end of it. She tried hiding in her spot under the piano, but she started getting so nervous, she just got up and started pacing around the house, and then looking for my brother, sniffing in all his usual spots. I was inside trying to keep her calm when matt walked in. he reached down to pet her, and she snarled at him, which she normally doesn’t do! She even tried going up stairs, but that didn’t help her either, and a little while later, she ran down and tackled me to the floor, laying on me and whining! I hope I’m home when my brother gets here to pick her up, and take her to work, because I just know she is going to jump him.
Mike was the only one that, to my knowledge, wasn’t horribly effected. He was in my moms room most of the night, and was just as hyper as always when I went in to check on him.
The poor babies, I hate it when they whimper and cry. Its makes me sad…
