"SISTER! LOOK! NEWBIES!!" A young girl bounded up along the hillside and stared in awe at the detectives as they walked slowly towards the Central Square.

"Kira! Stop gwaking! Its rude you know!" A older looking girl who was sitting beside her spoke up harshly, her dark pools of green eyes hidden by thin strands of her black hair that curtained her even darker face.
"Aww..but Marta! They look cool! Heh, look at that one though, his hair bounces when he walks! "Giggling, she pointed to Kuwabara, whose bright orange hair DID bounce while he walked...all because of that stupid funky ametuer(sp?) pompadoure he tried to pull of with his hair.
Shaking her head, Marta sighed as she watched her sister jump up and wander over to the strangers. Normally, she would've told her hyperactive sibling to take a chill pill, but this time she figured 'why bother...she wont stop, she's sugar high.' .

"HEY!! Hi-ya new guys! MY NAME IS KIRA! NICE TO MEET YOU!" She grinned brightly as they looked down at her, slightly surprised to see a little girl here in this world of death.
"Uhm..Hi?" Yusuke spoke back to the munchkin, he looked at her closely as she rocked back and forth still smiling up at them with gleaming eyes.
"You guys will be coming to the Initiation Ceremony tonight, right? All newbies have to go there to get signed in the Book of the Dead!" She said all of this with a straight face and a smile, obviously used to the fact of souls being recorded into a book that signified that you were stone cold dead under ground somewhere back home.

"Initiation Ceremony..? Hmm, thats funny..Jack didn't say anything about that going on around here today, did he?" Scratching his head, Yusuke looked over at Kuwabara and sighed as his friend shrugged his shoulders and stared back him just as confused.
"Hey, kiddo, look, we're not de-"
"Yusuke, look!" Inturrupting someone's sentence is never polite, but Kurama had a good reason to as he pointed over to the middle of the square where a whole crowd of people were watching with mouths agap as a strangly dressed man ran around slapping people with a gigantic herring.

"STOP SAYING THAT HORRIBLE WORD! STOP I SAY!! " He growled in a high-pitched manner.

"Heh! LOOK HE'S FUNNY!!" Kira said with a laugh, clapping her hands with glee she watched as the funny man chased a group of people away as they ran about screaming.
