Physical Description
Name:
Fendall Rilacke
Age, Height, Weight, and Body Type:
He has lived for 38 years, towers over the average person at 6' 9", and weighs a solid 220 pounds. Fendall is essentially a giant. He is built solid and can punch a hole in almost anything.
Bloodline:
Fendel hails from a long line of knightly humans who have served Eternus for generations. His family has always been proud warriors, firmly believing that the might behind a sword was stronger than any other force, even the power of magick.
Distinct Features:
He is tall, thick, and strong. His muscles are extremely well defined, as he spends much of his time practicing with his fellow knights.
His jawline is sharp and square; his brow is furrowed and heavy. His chin is wide and flat. He often looks like he is angry or stern, but it's just his general typical look.
He has short, black hair that spikes back and upwards. Some of his hairs have begun to gray with age, or with stress.
Fendel has a pair of narrow, yellow-green eyes that are small in the iris and are often strained open, to the point of physically reflecting his crazed demeanor.
His nose is decently large and crooked, and looks like he took a solid punch to the face one too many times.
A small scar falls vertically over his right eye, which he claims was a mere practicing accident and a simple oversight, though it remains to be seen if that is the true cause. he would never admit to taking a hit in an actual battle.
Clothing:
His armor is his most prominent feature. He bears a thick, heavy plate mail that leaves no open spaces for any weapon to penetrate its defenses. The armor is plated white-silver and is trimmed with a gold lining. On the chest plate is the symbol of Eternus, two infinity symbols that are overlapped at an offset horizontal to each other. He is always in his armor, whether practicing, in battle, or at a formal party. Each step he takes while wearing it literally makes the ground shake, and of course gives him the impression that he's the one in power.
Weapons:
Fendel wields a very large b*****d sword, one so heavy that it's weight alone can pin a large animal underneath it. Cleaving a horse in two was a gruesome feat he accomplished with own hands in just a single swing of his sword. It is always mounted on his back.
He is a deadly shot with a crossbow.
Magicks:
Humans cannot wield magick.
Personality
Traits:
He is extremely egotistical. To him, nothing is better or more fortunate than himself, being a far superior human.
He looks down on almost everyone, secretly even the Emperor himself. He feels that no one ever could meet his standards, no one but him.
He's almost always frustrated. Almost nothing goes the way he wants it too, unless he's slaughtering something.
His jealousy runs deep for those who receive admiration for their duty to the Emperor. No matter how hard he tries, albeit poorly, he feels that he's never recognized for his accomplishments. The problem is that the things he does that he wishes were recognized as great accomplishments are really just cruelties and torment laden actions against those around him. He jealousy runs heavy with Felix Vanitas, as he's always managed to receive the better side of the Emperor.
Talents:
Even though his has a very large blade, he is very quick with the weapon in combat. His head-count towers over most of his fellow kinsmen, counting monster, human, and magick-folk kills. Although his attitude remains to be questionable, no one can deny his skill with his weapon.
Gathering information through any means necessary is a skill he improved on during his time as an interrogator. Besides his shear size being an encouraging factor for spitting out information, he can simply look at a person just the right way to hint that he's ripped people in half bigger than you.
He has admirable skills in all forms of hunting and tracking, whether it be beast or man. As with his other skills, he has a keen perception when investigating something for clues or hints as to what happened. When paired with all his other skills, he can find almost anything he's looking for with ease. He's a deadly hunter.
Likes:
He enjoys killing and winning more than anything else. Destruction literally lights up his eyes. Of course, he does have a sense of protection for his human race, but in the end, he would let any number of people die to get what he wants.
Formerly: Felix' wife.
Dislikes:
Magick folk.
Felix Vanitas.
Losing at anything, be it games or competition, or something he created in his own mind.
Being proven wrong.
Fears:
Being overpowered and being able to do nothing about it.
On a certain level, Felix Vanitas, for he fears that if he ever loses to Felix, his image becomes tarnished.
History
Most Significant Memory:
The day he confessed his love to the now wife of Felix, she sorely shut him down. She had no desire to be with him, as she had strong feelings for Felix and the love that he had to provide. Fendel had nothing to give her that she didn't already have. From that point on, he developed a sour hatred for all magick folk, even more-so than he already had. He falsely accusing them of evil in their souls and that magick would be the death of the Empire, all because of his jealousy for Felix. Unfortunately, this constant accusation would assist the Emperor's decision to commence The Great Purge of Magick, since it was magick that had overtaken his mind and allowed another to manipulate him.
General History:
After the manipulator of the Emperor had a firm grasp over the rule of the Empire, Fendel fled the capital when he heard that the human families in the palace were being killed. He later regrouped with a few of his troops and began to formulate a reason for the Emperor's treachery against his own kind. After some time went by, and a good amount of spy work, Fendel was able to reach the conclusion that it wasn't the Emperor's doing, and that his friend was the more likely of causes. While this was correct, the assumption originally spawned out of spite that the friend of the Emperor was of magick descent, and he had a cruel hatred for the magick folk.
Fendel and a few other significant members of the Empire decided to form a guild, an army against the Emperor's attendant, Legion of Empyrean, Knights of the Heavens. This rogue army would be the downfall of the Emperor's manipulator, and the rise of Fendel's recognition as a hero to humanity and the Empire.
He now leads the armies of the Emperor in an all-out assault against the magick-folk of the world as their highest in command. He actively seeks out the two children of the Vanitas family in hopes to squash the remaining members of Felix' lineage and to drain out the impure blood that mixes within them.
