Every year, on this very day, I like to sit down and think about how my year was. I think about the good and the bad, the proud and the embarrassing, and the regrets. I recount it all in solitude. Last year's reflection was a nightmare, I thought about all the events that took place over the year and felt weak rather than strong once I finished my meditation. This year, however, my reflection left me strong and refreshed. This year, my 18th year, is my greatest year. I have no regrets, I have no bad memories. I can look back on this year and see only smiles and laughter. I met a lot of really great and caring people, I finished high school and started college, and I think I might be in love again. This was the most wonderful year of my life, and now my 19th year has just begun. It will even more fantastic than the last.
