Crying
Wanting to feel blood drip down my face
Unfortunately, it's just a drop of saltwater from my eye
Not a tear.
Tears are too emotional.
This drop has bitterness. Resentment.
A twist of hatred
And a sting of regret.
The jazz plays on;

Unless you don't give a good goddamn about redemption."
Lip twisting. Teeth gritting.
There is no caring about redemption.
Far from salvation...
Lean back. Stare at a spare cigarette.
Temptation. Slow death...that will feel good.
Let it burn.
Inhale the toxin, the soothing, burning toxin.

Viper.
Snake.
Obsession.
"Hiss."
Smile a fake, wicked smile. Nothing has you down now.
