I thought the new Naruto game was out early, due to the extensively large amount of gameplay videos on youtube, videos from both gaming channels and regular people. Well, I was wrong, and stood there dumbfounded for a moment when one of the employees told me it's not out yet. Well, I decided to pre-order it instead, and even traded in my old Naruto game for some credit towards the newer one, which is nice, so now I only have to pay forty-six dollars instead of the original, jaw dropping sixty dollars. That's a lot for a game, although when it's Naruto, the price is more than fair.
If you don't mind reading a rant of mine, then continue, if not, then suck it up, or leave. Videogame prices are so high due to three major reasons. One being the greediness of the manufacture, who's chief concern is making money. Second, and the most troubling one, is the fact that we continue to buy the games for that price. I'd be a hypocrite if I said that everyone should boycott all the gaming companies for lower prices, because I, too, buy games at their unreasonably high prices and wouldn't dare boycott it, because, like every gamer, I've got an addiction to the games that can't be cured. Lastly, high tariff prices. It costs a fortune to import games to America because of our tariff prices. If they lowered that, the games may be available for a lower, more acceptable cost, but then again, there's always the chance that they'll keep the prices high, regardless of the tariff, because they know we're addicted enough to continue buying them at their outrageous prices. Oh well.
