Journal- January 28th
It's been one day since we set sail from Gambino. The water's calm and the wind has been kind to us, blowing hard enough to keeps the boat moving, but gentle enough to not tip us over. I do wish we had enough to purchase a motor boat, it would make this trip go a lot faster. But then there wouldn't have been enough to pay the supplies we needed.
Our boat isn't very big or fancy. Mina and I can still walk around it , which is what we have been doing to pass the time here and there. There are two benches to sit on, one on each side. The middle we use to sleep. At night, we take turns keeping watch in case a storm should come. Other than walking and storm watching, there isn't much to do on the boat but talk, read our map, and wait to arrive on land. I don't believe I've ever been so bored on a hunt before. However, I know that the pace will pick up as soon as we hit the island.

As time passes, we see there is still no sign of land, however, something else is brewing. Mina's fur has been standing on end for the last hour or so. She can sense something is coming our way. What it is, I guess we won't find out till it's closer, whatever it is. I'm hoping it's not a storm. And if it is, let us prey it is only a small one passing by. This boat is strong, but not strong enough to take one a fierce storm.

It's a storm...... And a powerful one.
