So this is for anyone who's seen my work in the writing areana (mainly the fanfic in progress stuff). I advise reading this before reading the snipits so you have some background info on what I'm trying to write/do.
So some basics:
Harry has a twin-- not a typical twin or Wrong-BWL story, so please no judgement until you've read. His name is Michael.
Harry's parent's are alive (haven't worked out how yet, but I'll get to that). And again, not the typical story where his parents are alive and they're total assholes and totally out of character. In fact the idea for this story kinda came out of my annoyance at fanfic that have Lily and James be awful to Harry and I was like 'I'm gonna write one where they're nice!'. Gay, but whatever. I combined it with another idea I had and then this was born.
Harry was sorted into Ravenclaw, Michael in Gryffindor. Reasons for this will be given in the story itself.
Harry, Hermione, and Draco began a friendship (Secret) in their first year (they're kinda my version of the Golden Trio? but not so much). Hermione is still friends with Ron and Michael adn they have their yearly adventures and whatnot.
This is a post-second War story, so the only parts of their school life you'll read about is gonna be in flash backs or them explicitly talking about it. Might do an in-school version of this story later, but first this one's gotta be written.
Harry is on trial as a Death Eater (the worst of the Second War). He still killed Voldemort however, and this trial is my way of writting about the war and Harry's reasonings behind everything. This story's almost like a character study in that way-- I'm not so much focused on action but the characters themselves.
The Second War started in Harry's fifth year where he joined the Order and supposedly died before the end of his Fifth year. It's not til the final battle that everyone finds out he was alive and acting as a Death Eater-- Voldie's right hand man in fact).
Harry had a relationship with Snape (not romantic-- a mentor/mentee relationship).
Harry and Draco do have feelings for each other but this is not even close to the main focus of the story and I never write scenes where they're together at all. Just mentioned. This is just a warning in case people are really weird about that kind of stuff I can say I forewarned them.
This story is written in first-person POV that switches between The Minister (who is Scrimgeour in this story), Harry, Michael, and Draco.
General heads up, this is a work in-progess so there are some blanks here and there (only for names of things though). And the == marks you'll see around words or phrases show that I'm iffy about those things and are most likely going to change those once I find something better to replace them with. Also, I've yet to think of a title I really like for this fanfic, so in the beginning of each post I'll simply state whether it's a part of this or not.
I'll talk about other stuff with specific snipits if I feel I need to. And I'm happy to answer questions (As long as I'm not giving away the whole story in the process). But this is really here for me to get feedback from people before I publish it on fanfiction. net or something like so critiques/suggestions/comments are really welcome.
