I'm a Senior in high school this year.. and I'm glad I am. I've not had much problem in school, I have friends, good teachers, alright grades, and nothing physical about school is all that bad. The one thing though that I find to be just insane about high school is "High School Drama" and relationships. If I could get a penny for ever rumor spread about some couple then I'd be rolling in pennies. I mean its just plain stupid the things you hear. Ya know, things like "Did you hear that she did this!" or "I can't believe he is talking to another girl!" or even "What a slut, I can't believe those two are going out" Its just.. I just can't understand it. People place such high importance on male female (sometimes female-female, male-male) relationships. Its just "The Thing" and people who are single always seem to be bummed about it. I'm not, though once in a rare occassion I have wished I had a girlfriend, somebody I could relate with, talk to, share my passion with (what passion I have that is^.^..)

I've probably seen just about all of the high school drama you can get too. Relationships breaking up due to violent boy friends, or "slutty" girlfriends screwing another guy. Guys who prefer to smoke pot (most senseless thing in the world) over having sex with their girl. I've seen guys who walk around depressed because they don't have a girl, I've seen guys get all excited because they had sex with some drunk chick and have, and will never see that girl again. (Then they somehow feel proud.. till the realization hits them that she was drunk.. and he won't see her again) I've seen homosexual drama (I've nothing against Gays by the way, if anyone wanted to know), you know "I can't believe she is going out with that slut!" ... wow the word slut is used soo often in high school.. I've used it a good number of times myself. I've seen it all.. from girls crying because they broke up with their partner, to guys crying because they broke up. I've seen guys who are sophmores already having plans to propose and marry a girl the next year. If its happened, then I've seen it.. if I haven't.. well then I haven't. -shrugs-

But one thing is the importance that is put on these relationships. I think women put more a importance on getting a boy friend then guys do a girl friend. Girls may (some don't) have the notion of finding true love early on in life.. well ladies, let me tell you something. It probably won't happen. Just how life works. But of course there are excpetions. Maybe girls need partners more then guys do though, I've always seemed to think that. Some girl is sad and her reason is because she doesn't have a boy friend. ITS NOT THAT IMPORTANT! By the time your in highschool your about 15-18 years of age.. even 40 years of age is a great time to hook up with somebody. It doesn't need to happen so early, we have enough pregnet 14, 15, 16, and 17 year old teens already (might be because guys keep forgetting what a rubber is though.. men are stupid... yeah its true)

Sex also seems to be important, and works right up there with having a boyfriend/girlfriend. "Find the perfect guy, let him take my virginity and be together for ever!" Blah blah blah.. No man is perfect.. I've heard of girls who have been with a guy who took their virginity.. and then they dumped the guy because they wanted to experience and explore their sexual life with more then one partners. I've seen guys who have taken away a girls virginity and dump them.. the reason! "I want to still be able to do stuff with other women" Guys are horny, thats true too.. They think with their d**k, not heads. (with the exception of what are called "Nice Guys" some people think I'm one.. maybe I am^.-..) And women.. well I don't know, too much going on for me to actual try. I'm not a women so I can't accuratly talk about them, just type out opinion based mumbo jumbo that sounds neat (like this whole entry^^)

And I won't lie to anyone. I'm 18, still a virgin and i've turned down the opportunity to have sex. Why? I didn't feel I was ready, I still don't know if I am. So much can go wrong during sex, getting a women pregnet ranks high, but STD's is also a good contender. I'm also single (no this isn't a add for me to find a girl friend.. if you just happen to think that) and I'm perfectly okay with myself. I wouldn't say I'm a sex driven man either-.- Hell, I wake up every morning and take a freezing cold shower-.- You can't think about that stuff with cold water running down your back.. doesn't happen. Ladies, if your man is horny.. and keeps pushing to have sex with you but you dont' want to. Force him to take a long.. cold.. shower. He won't be in the mood afterwards, and if he is.. then prehaph the sex could be worth it. (-shrugs- don't know about that though.. maybe he is the type that just has that "wild pig sex" way.. ) One last thing about myself "have I ever thought about women then? or wanted a girl friend.. or liked a girl? (also.. i'm not a homosexual myself... if anyone got that thought too..) I would say yes, I'll see a girl walk by and say "Damn, thats one fine piece of a**" or "Man I'd ******** her if she gave me the chance" or even the "Wow.. those are huge.." but those are just things guys say around guys -shrugs- its a man thing and only proves the theory that guys don't use their brains. But yes, I do think about women, I do like them and I do think I like a few of them in a more then just friendly way. If they have the same feelings towards me then Yay! but if now, Oh well. But I usually don't let on that I like them, I'm not after a relationship in high school. I'm after my Diploma.
