My family and I went to Las Vegas for a few days last week. We saw three movies... Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and Phantom of the Opera. MI was okay, I liked SH, and Phantom was great. Phantom of the Opera had awesome stage effects, which makes sense because it's a permanent show at Las Vegas. Awesome singing, too.
One of the presents my family got was this Walking Dead board game. (I have to watch that show sometime...) It was really fun playing it, especially since we knew some of the story. One of the story points that came up in one game was the Shane/Lori affair. Also, my brother really wanted to play as a walker, but he needed to die as a survivor first, so everyone else kept saving him. I ended up dying and becoming a walker first because we wasted our saves on my brother.

I got braces yesterday. It didn't hurt when the dentist put them on me; there was just this feeling of a push or pull on my teeth. I got to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules while in the chair, which wasn't able to distract me from the horrible smell of what I think was the glue used to stick the brackets to my teeth. There was also the horrible taste of the tools and molds and everything. Right now, there's still no pain, but the braces are extremely annoying. I have to spend more time brushing my teeth, I can barely eat, and the wire is too long. Still, I'm glad I have them now because I'll only have them for two years, compared to longer if I wait til I'm older. Plus, I didn't need the rubber band, which looks kind of scary to me.
Title drop: I love Kongregate (but I don't have an account there yet). A game there that I love is The Company of Myself. It's got a great story and design. I haven't finished it, though, since I'm having trouble with one level and I do not want to use the walkthrough.
