Hmmmm..... well today was... interesting I guess. I only say this because I went to Arlington by choice, though I missed Davis.. a LOT. Davis apparently missed me too, jeez.. what would we do if something happened? gonk Oh well, that's not a good thought.
It's a week until my birthday and, what.. 11 days until I get to see Davis? whee
Wonderful.
Well.. I went to Micheals with my mom and sister and chased my little sister around with a big foam "#1" hand that had nothing on it and bugged the hell out of my mom with it.. I kept poking her with it and she was like, "Jeff wants one of those, only with the middle finger up instead of the index" and I just laughed and poked her face. Needless to say, it really was amusing.
Jesus, though... it's way too hot to be this time of year, methinks...
Ah, so I got my Starbucks.. Yesss.. I -love- the marble mocha macchiato (wow that's a mouthful). It's so good... *swoon* X3 Lol. Ummm.. yes and so I went to my grandma's house and ran my heart out on the treadmill 'cause they got a new one and I was like HAHA LOOK AT ME I CAN FLY! Ohh yeah. Lol. And then I played a ton of songs on that dusty piano of theirs I used to love, and retaught my sister chopsticks... I'm able to play stuff by ear, it's very odd. I have no musical background whatsoever either... I just pick up on a note I recognize and can play the song, mostly.
Then we went to my grandpa's and my grandpa gave me an all-jade necklace for my birthday. I hate jewelry with a passion when it's given to me as a ceremonious gift, but it was.. nice I suppose. Thoughtful. He considers me a young lady so I didn't hate it too much, and to be polite I wore it, but... I have no idea when I'll ever use it. I'm too afraid I'll accidentally break it, and that damn thing is worth a LOT. It's a lot of jade...
Oh yeah, at grandma's I told Jeff that Davis was gonna visit over easter and he and my mom start putting on a show about how they HAVE TO MEET HIM and "Who's gonna drive?!" And me being like, uhhh.. and then my mom is like, "Oh, Jeff will have to drive you!" And I was like gah!! Lol they put up such a big fuss! And then my mom, I hope jokingly, added that she'd make me take Alec with us. That's what her parent's made her do when she would go hang out with friends or go out on a date.. Take my uncle Jessie with her...
I good-naturedly laughed and joked about it..
Okay for dinner we had Cracker Barrel and I must say I'm so sick of their food.. the chicken and dumplings were quite frankly.. too salty. *cringes* It made me feel sorta bad to keep eating. Alec and Laura went with my mom to look at the toys and I stayed with Jeff and grandpa because I know Jeff doesn't always like to be alone with his dad, so my grandpa is sitting here talking about how he used to have to take swimming in highschool and all the guys had to swim... well.. au natural. *shudders* It started getting a little too... umm.. descriptive in a nondescriptive way for me? Ehheh. It was just bizarre. And I have no idea what brought that conversation up.
Oh well... Anyways, that's all I'll bore you people with for today, I know most people don't even read fully through these, or atleast, I'm almost positive you don't.
