i) Worl Domination is kind of a top priority right now...
[I had to fit this sentense into the story somehow...]
Writing Contest Entry:
“So…why is the horse painted Pink again?” Tina asked as she folded her arms across her chest.
“Well…Darcy wanted a stroll around the park. And she wanted a pink horse…” Aleq explained as he typed away on his big monitor.
“I’m pretty sure that’s animal cruelty…” Tina’s expression was sarcastic.
“Honestly I don’t care, I’m on the verge of trying to take over the world! I don’t need to be thinking about pink balloons, pink horses, pink limos, and what the hell is a pink berry?”
“It’s a yogurt place! It’s really good.” Stella comes waltzing in.
“And where have you been all day?” Tina asks Stella.
“Oh, I was at…” Stella thought for a while, “I don’t remember…” She scratched her head confused.
“I still don’t understand why she’s even here,” Tina sighs and shakes her head sadly.
“She helps bring in evil doers who can later turn into allies.” Aleq says without looking at his screen.
“Attention, incoming video request,” the computer monitor announces.
“Accept request.” Aleq replies as he looks up at the big screen.
“Aleq baby!!!” Suddenly, it was Darcy on the monitor.
“Darcy, how did you get this number? I told you to call the landline.” Aleq says.
“I got it from Stella!” Darcy smiles cheerfully. Tina and Aleq shoot a dead minute stare at Stella.
“It’s not my fault! Stop looking at me like that!” Stella cries and ran out of the room.
Aleq sighs impatiently.
“Look Darcy, I don’t think this whole thing is going to work out. I love destroying the planet, and you love to make things pretty. I love killing people and you love the color pink.” Aleq was trying to be as calm as possible.
“I’m not sure what your saying…” Darcy tilts her head sideways.
“Seriously?” Tina gave her famous sarcastic look.
“Read my lips Darcy…I don’t want to be with you. I mean world domination is kind of a top priority right now, not you.”
“Um, can you say that a little slower?” Darcy asked with a stupid look on her face.
“Wow,” Tina’s whole body language became flat.
“Bye Darcy.” Aleq pressed the off button.
“I guess next time we don’t go on blind dates set up by Stella?” Tina teases but in a slow soothing way. Aleq stop everything, in the next minute he starts pounding hi head on the computer keys.
