Finger
Don't judge or time will cut you short,
shorter than you already
are.
Don't stick out. They will scorn
you
for your vulgarity
and being tall.
The status quo must be obtained.
Keep the balanced fulcrum in the middle.
Don't point down.
That is hell. Someone may just
point down at you.
Please let go.
But keep in mind
the unbreakable promise
worth much more than the cost
of a broken finger.
