crystal walks threw the forest to go see adam at his lab but on the way to the lab she runs into a injured riolu. riolu was so beautaful little girl. crystal slowly approched the pokemon and asked if she could help. riolu was uneasy but she felt like she could trust crystal. all of a sudden crystal heard a noice and quickly picked up the riolu and jumpped into the tree and looked down from above and told her to be really quick. crystal saw a bunch of members of team galatec was after the riolu she had found. they stayed put till the close was clear and then crystal took the riolu to the proffesor as she saw him he treated the pokemon.
adam mom said u had something for me.
yes i do how would u like to have a nice pokemon to start your journy hm. i said cool but i think i want to have riolu weve been threw to much and i dont want to see anyone hurt her again. i see if she wants to then hers a empty poke ball alright adam tossed the poke bal at crystal as she caught it.

riolu went into her pokeball without hessaatation and then after she was caught she came back out really happy.

riolu blew them away as they both left for their first pokemon contest and gym battle.
