Name: Lan
Age: 16
Gender: Male (
looks/dresses like a girl and everyone thinks he is one)
Height: 5'10"
Eyes: pink-red
Hair: Red-Orange
Likes: sports (especially soccer and track), playing hard to get (lol for the guys), fruits, tea, math
Dislikes: boys, people who mistreat those who are weaker, arrogance
Personality: Because of his beauty (and the fact that he dresses as a girl), he comes off as the unapproachable type. His smiles are disarming, but he presents himself as very cool and indifferent. In reality, he's very self conscious and has a very low self esteem. He is upset and disappointed by his girly appearance, even though he grudgingly accepts it. He sometimes acts more like a girl than real girls, which is even more disheartening. Everyone thinks he is a very frail and delicate when he is actually quite the opposite. Even though Lan acts soft-spoken most of the time, his internal dialogue is quite colorful and vehement at times. He is not timid at all and as a girl, feels like he has a great control over others.
History:Lan has always been bullied, picked-on, even harassed for his very pretty, feminine look. Even though he is athletic, he isn't very manly and this greatly disappoints his manly-man father. This causes Lan to suffer from lack of self-esteem.
After almost getting assaulted by a group of boys at his school all-boys school, he is broken and falls into depression. Then, in what may have been a very reckless, risky move, he decides he's had enough and decides to accept his look. He cross-dresses and applies to an all-girl's private school to avoid his male bullies. His identity change becomes an issue of secrecy.
At the girl's school, his experience is quite the opposite from before. Instead of being hassled, he is idolized as the epitome of feminine beauty. Lan finds this amusing, flattering, and simultaneously revolting. He tries to ignore the others, but his popularity so great that his indifference makes him that much more exciting. He even becomes the idol of the all-boy's school next door. Soon, Lan become the highly sought after "girl" of Tae, the most popular, handsome boy at the boy's school. Lan happily spurns Tae's advances.
Lan has no problem living as a girl (for the time being) until he meets his new desk-partner, Yuhee, who is labeled as the class nerd. She doesn't have too many friends at school because of her reputation as an over-timid know-it-all. Yuhee is an ardent admirer of Lan's feminine mystique, but at the same time envious that Lan is Tae's object of desire. Like many girls, Yuhee crushes on Tae and wants to be desirable to him.
Lan becomes very close with Yuhee (he sympathizes with her lack of confidence). Initially he just tries to help her with a kind of makeover to appear more fashionable and feminine. But, he soon falls for her. When he realizes that he might be helping his girl attract another guy, he becomes jealous and frustrated.
Only problem is that Yuhee thinks Lan is a girl.
