I never had the writers block.
Too many thoughts moored at my dock.
Ideas and dreams come way too easy
some are smart, while others cheesy.
I often wonder why writers cry
they can't think of the how or why
their stories or their poems stop
in midstream, with creative drop.
There are ways to battle this.
Exchange dark moods for writers bliss.
Look around and expand your vision
watch reruns of television.
Listen to some oldies songs
hear the words of right and wrongs.
Love and joy the words are there
to inspire you with thoughts to share.
Watch TV without the sound.
Pretend to write the script profound.
Read the TV guide descripts
their shortened note of 2 hour clips.
Go to college roam the halls
slip into class, get some balls.
Go to lunch and watch the students
jot down thoughts in random prudence.
See your library right in town.
Read old magazines in quiet sound.
Go to a racetrack but do not bet.
Watch the others cheer and fret.
Dont tell me youre out of words.
Go city surfing, check out the burbs.
Writers block goes away real fast.
Reread this poem and get off your a**.
