I know an EP really? With only 5 songs it kind of got me down and I was not as stocked but then I herd it was going to be a concept album, this made me even more skeptical because not all themed albums turn out good, and ill talk about that in a little bit. For the before the EP the devil wears prada graced us with one song and a promo. Now the promo was not really not as good as it could have been but the song "outnumbered" really blew me away. Its was way harder and darker then anything they have done yet and this got me excited! So if you are thinking about buying it the album for 6 bucks looks for the art on the side and if not then I guess I'm here to do convincing.The EP its self was completely breath taking. Each song had its own theme of some zombie apocalypse and if you are worried about them going to the dark side and moving away from there Christian vibe I will be glad to tell you they are true to there self's and if you read the lyrics there are still god based lines . The devil wears prada really never disappoints and the hard music is probably the best thing they have ever done . The piano, chainsaw, rain, shotgun and you name it had a perfect touch to the zombie based music and I think they did it perfectly. with only 5 songs they actually did it right. A whole album based of zombies alone would have probably gotten boring after a while so I'm actually glad they kept it down to 5 songs. For the lyrics they are still the devil wears prada feel as I told you already, hardcore with a lot of meaning and vocabulary, then the little but awesome chorus parts that Jeremy sings. The music is kind of distant at first listen but this is easily pushed aside.
I say well done and completely worth the money. Actually you would be stupid just to buy the EP and not buy a t-shirt, and there little comic that comes with the theme because I know you will now be a huge fan. If you are looking for the devil wears prada at its best then I say buy, and if your a new comer then still buy because you will be hooked on this quickly rising Metalcore band. I give this EP a 10/10. enough said!
