Can you hear the faint beating heart in the distance?
As each heart beat pounds for her destined love..
The breeze that slowly gathers...slowly takes her breath away..
slowly dying...slowly drifting into endless sleep...never to be awoken by the people she once loved...
the rise in her hands...was the last she'll ever receive
the memories she recalls, flash within each second
as tears roll down her cheeks and are carried away by the wind...
She calls out for him..but he can't hear her cries...
the falling petals of the rose start to dance swiftly around her...
knowing that this is her last time she'll walk the earth..
she leans down by a cherry blossom tree..
her strength grows weaker as time passes on...
she closes her eyes for a moment...just to remember the beautiful eyes she once gazed upon for guidance..the eyes she'll never see again..she smiles a bit and whispered,... "You were always on my mind my beloved....please...forget me..for I don't wish you any more pain and sorrow..."once more...just like the first, she looked down upon the rose...
remembering what her love had once said to her..and she responds... "you were right...the last rose...is always the hardest to hold"
badly injured from the battle she had just fought...her strength fails on her and she collapses to the ground...
the rose she held, is lying on her palm...not held onto gently...
The wind grows fierce as the branches of the cherryblossom trees shower her with cherry blossoms..
her love appears...and sees the fallen angel he first met...the one who showered him with her light...the one who he had fallen in love with...and said she'll always be there to protect him...
He ran quickly to where she was lying and held her in his arms...
and for the first time...since his "death"...he was crying...
never in his thoughts did it occur to him that this moment of her gone from his life....was the deepest cut he ever felt...beyond all the wounds he had...
night came to be...but not even a glimpse of the
light from the sky shone...
the stars had burned away..and the moon had faded away...
he held her in his arms...realizing that he was lost in darkness...just like he had once felt before...and the light
from the heavenly sky...had faded away...because the only light he had...
had just disappeared from the world...
He remained there that night with his lost true love...
fullfilling his last words he had said before they departed...he whispered them to her once more..."I shall always be by your side..."
The fierce winds had calmed down...knowing that...
it was the last time, he'll spend with his fallen angel...from the heavens above
