Feeling the hungry teeth of loneliness
eat away at my heart, soul, and sanity,
took away all will to live.
I wished to have my wings
break the skin of my back
and take me far away from
alone.
I wished to do this all on my own;
To know I needed no one
and me all I need.
I never knew the acid
of anothers kiss, was, of all things,
a healing acid.
An acid that burned through the
barriers of flesh,
pulled up the wings of an angel,
and let me, myself, and him fly away
from the loneliness;
Tward the sun, warm
up away from the sinking waters.
Now we are free,
wings with fresh blood dripping,
and sanity...
well that was never intact.
eat away at my heart, soul, and sanity,
took away all will to live.
I wished to have my wings
break the skin of my back
and take me far away from
alone.
I wished to do this all on my own;
To know I needed no one
and me all I need.
I never knew the acid
of anothers kiss, was, of all things,
a healing acid.
An acid that burned through the
barriers of flesh,
pulled up the wings of an angel,
and let me, myself, and him fly away
from the loneliness;
Tward the sun, warm
up away from the sinking waters.
Now we are free,
wings with fresh blood dripping,
and sanity...
well that was never intact.
