It was the day of the prom, and a girl sat all alone to watch her crush dance with another girl. I's been years and she still likes the most popular guy in school. She starts to cry, for she knows he will never be hers.
She runs out of the prom, tears steaming down her face. Her crush noticed that she was running outside and crying so he followed. She runs and runs to anywhere she can hide, but instead she gives up and jumps into the street waiting for a car to come by. Her crush grabs her by the arm just in time to save her from getting hit by a car.
Girl: "Wh-Why did you save me when you could be having fun and dancing with her?"
Boy: "I don't know..."
Girl: "Well, If you don't know then just go back to the prom..."
Boy: "I don't want to, I want to be spending time with the most beautiful girl I have ever met."
Girl: *sighs* She must be lucky... Did you tell her that she's beautiful?"
Boy: " No... I never told her... I didn't think that she would care about hearing that from a jerk like me." *looks away*
Girl: "Who said you were a jerk?"
Boy: "Oh, somebody... Well I just think she thinks I'm one."
Girl: "Um, I..."
Boy: "You what?"
Girl: "Forget it. It's not that important."
Boy: "Of course it's important. What were you going to say?"
Girl: *blushes* Just forget it... really."
Boy: "Just get it off your mind." *kicks rock*
Girl: "There's this boy I've been crushing on for the longest time... but I know he will never like a girl like me." *starts to cry*
Boy: *catches tears and hugs tightly* Shh... don't cry. Everything is going to be alright."
Girl: "I wish it could be, but it's just not possible. I wish he cold hold me everyday..." *stops crying and sniffles*
Boy: "Who's this boy?"
Girl: *looks at the moon* Nobody in particular..." *glances at crush* "So, uh, aren't you with that girl you were dancing with?"
Boy: "Nah, she's not the one for me. I have somebody else in mind."
Girl: *looks disappointed* "Oh.. she must be amazing to have someone like
you..."
Boy: "Anyone is lucky to have such a beautiful girlfriend like you..."
Girl: "I'm not beautiful... Nobody thinks so. *sighs*
Boy: *pauses* I think so... I think you're the most beautiful girl alive..." *smiles*
Girl: "But... didn't you say you wanted to spend time with the most beautif-...wait..."
Boy: "I'm spending time with her now." *smiles*
Girl: *blushes* "There's still this boy I love..."
Boy: "Oh, yeah... sorry... well I gotta go..." *sighs*
Girl: "Wait! don't leave me... please..There's something I wanted to tell you.. Thanks for saving me and I... I..I-I love...you." *starts to run away in embarrassment*
Boy: *grabs girl's arm and brings her in for a hug* "I love you too... with all my heart."
Girl: " But... but.."
Boy: "Shh." *puts finger to her lips to make her stay quiet* "What's your biggest wish?"
Girl: "To be kissed in the rain..."
~Starts pouring~
Girl: "I... think I should get going. It's getting cold and I'm all wet."
Boy: *gives jacket* C'mon. I'll drive you home."
~they arrive at the girls house and get out of the car to head towards her house~
Girl: "Thanks for the ride..." *starts walking again to house*
Boy: *grabs hand* There's something I want to do first..."
Girl: "Like what? Oh, wait I forgot to ask... what's your biggest wish?"
Boy: "The one to be kissing you in the rain." *pulls close and into arms* *kisses gently and cradles face into hands*
Girl: *blushes deeply and smiles* " You really didn't have to do that..."
Boy: "I've always wanted to do that... so don't worry." *smiles*
Girl: "I should get going..."
Boy: "Yeah, me too, but first there's one question I want to ask you..."
Girl: "Okay..."
Boy: "Will you be my girlfriend? I love you... so much."
Girl: "I love you too... and of course." *starts to cry*
Boy: "What's wrong?" *hugs*
Girl: *hugs back and doesn't let go* I've been waiting so long for this, and now I can't believe this is happening."
Boy: "Sorry for making you wait." *kisses*
Girl: "It's okay now..." *laughs softly* "Goodnight." *kisses*
Boy: *smiles back* I love you... See you tomorrow."
Girl: "Love you too." *kisses* "I'm looking forward to it."
~girl enters house and later falls asleep smiling~
She finally got her wish and the guy of her dreams, no longer needing to wait any longer. She smiles in her sleep dreaming of him every night. They are both deeply in love. Don't be afraid to tell the person that you love that you care about them. They may like or love you back, and who knows what will happen. <3 I think maybe I should start listening to my own advice...
