Toothless, the fearsome Night Fury and Vikings' worst nightmare, is really this goofy puppy of a dragon tam uses the bookend storytelling device, but it just won over my heart. There are some fun laughs during th movie and a few sad moments that had me openly weeping. As a popcorn flick with heart, How To Train Your Dragon fits the mold and has potential lots of future re-watching. Dreamworks doesn't put out a lot of substance with their CGI movies a lá Shrek Sequels, but how To Train Your Dragon could be the start of a better direction.
