So my past four days have consisted of practically just laying. Laying on the bed, laying on the couch, laying on the kitchen table... okay not really the table part. But I've have caught some kind of virus from the demon spawn that I babysit and now I've lost what little motivation I had in the first place. Not like I can do much anyways, being that my car has ANOTHER flat tire (second one in a month!), seriously I think my car has some kind of vendetta against me. Maybe it was because I named it charo (it shakes a lot and makes noises noone understands!) o.O. But I digress...
In much more exciting news(well for me anyways), my husband is graduating from army basic training in 9 days! woohoo! He's been gone since december, and it's been driving me crazy! Stephen really is my definition of a good husband, being that he is my best friend. I guess I already have plenty of very good friends, some I even consider family, but he has to be pretty high up on that list. Not just because I have to be biased because of the whole marriage thing, there are actually reasons lol.
For one, we have the same taste in EVERYTHING, he is seriously a carbon copy of me... well, with man features lol . We also think very much alike. For instance, I'll be thinking "man I wish I had some taco bell right now.", and right after that thought he'll be like "Hey you know what I was totally thinking just now? That we should go get some taco bell!". A lot of times we want the same things at the same time, like to play final fantasy until 6 in the morning, or watch a certain movie, or getting drunk hahaha. That makes things really easy; How can you get in a fight when you never disagree?
Another reason he is my favorite: he's pretty damn good looking. Duh, why else did you think I married him? xp
He is also generally good natured. He can be friends with everybody and almost never has anything negative to say, which really balances everything out because man, I can really be a b***h sometimes. And he does pretty well with that too. Not even nonchalantly, he just... I don't even know what he does. He just knows how to tame this tiger! lol... so dorky.
But among the plethora of reasons why he is my best friend is the one that says the most about him. He is just a really great guy. He would really do anything for anybody. Really. He is in the army because of ME, not because he necessarily WANTED to go, but because he wanted to make sure I had a good life. Not too long ago we were a couple of poor a** stoners who moved from place to place. We never had money, barely had food(which btw is not good when you're a stoner lol), and I was always sick because of my diabetes (we couldnt afford doctors so most of the time I ended up in the hospital. Think of all that debt! eek ). So we cleaned up and started to find better jobs, which we did, but it still wasnt enough(hey we're only 20 years old so it's not likegetting a career is a piece of cake), and in the end it was Stephen who decided to stand up and really take action. He really wanted to make an effort to give us a better life, even though it meant a huge sacrifice. Honestly I can't say I would do the same... I'm probably a little selfish... and a wimp xd . So I really look up to him for that, and extremely grateful. I mean, do you know anybody that would join the army just for YOU so that you can go to a doctor? 'Shits crazy!
But anyways, I just wanted to tell you about me being sick and how I'm excited about stephen graduating... didn't mean to ramble on about how great my husband is like a mother lol. Next time I'll tell you about the road trip to oklahoma and how I get to spend it with my mother in law and her crazy overly religious conservative sister. I'm sure that one will be a bit entertaining.
