The flower was planted in lush soil
Full of life and glee, it thrived
With caretakers and those to love
The beautiful flower lived

Helpful were the people
For the flower was always gazed upon
Regarded as the most precious,
Everyone wish it was their own

The flower had not a care in the world
All was to be taken care of
Even the clouds shaded it went needed
It was the product, the daughter of their toils

But the gorgeous flower was coveted
As a marvelous woman would be
There were those with their eyes set on her
And bee-lined in her direction
It was no expected at first
They were all so sure no misfortune would come
But misjudged they did man
And all of his flaws and deceptions

The lovely daring was soon visited
In the moonlight, where only the stars could witness
It appeared to be infatuation,
But emotions were unclear and easily misunderstood

And misleading

In time unable for those to notice,
Things began
And soon the precious had more
At different intervals, they came.

Caressed and held
The young flower was never treated so kindly
In the beginning it was innocence
In itself an act of passion

In the daylight these demonstrations were scolded
For the young baby was to remain untouched
But mere words and threats could not keep them back
And soon no one was sure what had happened
The guardians did what they could
As what they were was great
But fear of damaging the gift
Held back their feverish might

With storms and wind futile
The flower was soon taken
The men had well found loop holes
And were sure to take advantage

Such measures were took
But no one could predict
How much further
It could progress

There was a man of massive size
And once he saw the beauty he could not keep
He came upon her delicate skin
And smothered her in his embrace

Much mourning was took
The sweet child was tainted
"If only we could have kept them at bay"
But, there was nothing more to say
