It's been a long time since I've actually written a journal, so listen up. What is the true reason we celebrate Christmas? For Jesus' sake? NOOO! Is that a subliminal hit? NOOO! It's the damn truth. Jesus was not born on Christmas day, simply because of the greatest tool that 'God' has given us. The Bible! Read it, dumbass! Then research and take the clues from it to pinpoint a time when Jesus was born. Researchers have concluded that Jesus was actually born somewhere around May 20th. So why the hell do we celebrate him on Christmas? And is this what Jesus really wanted? Did he want people to be kind and good to their neighbor and love each other or did he want us to spend both our money and time worshipping him in a Holy Building? Think about that, read the Bible. Jesus is a real man, I know that to be true, but was he more than just a man?
Anyway, back to the reason of the season. When you look at Christmas, what do you think of? Those cheesy movies that play spouting love and joy and happiness. It's true. That's what Christmas is about. Bringing people together and bringing them joy, the power of gift giving, and all that jazz.
So what do I want you people to do? Wake up and smell the damn common sense. I know you Christian's are going to get offended and I'm perfectly fine with that, but Jesus is not a reason for the season. He's just not. Not for this season anyway. But still, you all have a Happy Holiday and try to enjoy the company of the people you love and care for.
