You'll know when he arrives. The roar of a huge black helicopter rotors will give off position, it's obvious. On it, is a red cross on both sides, and a red cross on the tail rotors. A rescue chopper. It is armed with Vulcan cannons on the front and on the side skids that have replaced the wheels.
Inside, would be Field Medic Claude Barclay with his crew, with an independent rescue ops team, RS3. Usually, they are hired to specific jobs or search-and-rescue missions by the government or organizations. Most of the time, it's national guard.
The young Claude always had the joy of helping. As a child, he would rescue hurt animals and release them into the wild again. He always wanted to be a doctor. His parents were rich, and were both doctors. They sent him to a private school in his early years.
The thing that made him want to choose this career was the rush of saving one woman from certain death when he was a mere 11 years old. A truck had overturned onto a car, and he had been one of the lone witnesses on his way to school. He pulled the pinned woman out of the SUV, and watched as the truck driver fled the scene about 30 seconds before the truck exploded into flames, taking the SUV with it.
He was awarded with a citizens' Medal of Valor for his actions, and when he arrived at high school, he immediately began the search and rescue ROTC option for his little Hampshire school in England. He was successful and was awarded two credit points for the training program, allowing him an early start.
Over the course of two years, Claude experience in the field of helicopter work, and decided that he would be a helicopter rescue unit. He moved to the United States when he was accepted with the Americans' National Guard. One year passed with him living in North America. He's now 20, and he's freelance with the rest of his crew.
Claude is heavily armed. Since he is always deployed in 'hot zones' with guns blazing, he needs to have lethality and still be a guardian angel. He is armed with an F2000 assault rifle, a .44 IMI Desert Eagle, and 2 M14 Incendiary grenades.
Claude's dressed from head-to-toe in top armor. He usually walks through flames or broken glass. No skin is showing except on his face. He has steel toed boots, with pants cuffed down to them with foam. He has black shin pads and black knee pads over black combat pants, for kneeling over bodies or people that are injured. He's got lots of pockets and pouches on waist full of medical goodies and stuff to kill or help people with. He's got a tactical kevlar and flak vest. Elbow pads and side protector included. His gloves are black and have metal knuckles on them. He has a suicide pill around his neck on a sterling silver chain. He has a 5-layer helmet. The middle layer is steel, the second-to last layers are memory foam, the one under it is carbon fiber, and the one over that is a smooth plastic. He has polarized goggles that make his eyes not visible when flying.
