What's been going on?
We're still looking for more people to bolster the ranks here. We've had a few people come and go, but most of them were just in it for quick money. Despite the wide use of fon tech, I wouldn't really call it the quick road to mountains of gald. We've been talking with Natalia in that regard. As per usual, they will be fully funding our research. Now if only we can get the needed man power....

Well, once we get things rolling, Noelle and I were talking about offering flying lessons. After all, in all reality, Noelle and I are the only pilots. Aston can fly, but only does if he absolutely has to, and Guy is learning, but he's still not quite ready to take one of the Albiore's solo. We're think that once we get the Albiore IV operational we can use the Albiore II to teach people to fly. We still have the remains of the Albiore I, but most of what's left has gone into the other two vehicles. ><

The Blackhole
We're still waiting to hear back about that mystery liquid in the can. Noelle had gotten some of it on her jacket, and while we were able to get the stuff out of her jacket, it still stinks!

Okay, so here's the story:
I was in my workshop going through some of Grandpa's old notes when I hear the door open. Before I can even turn around my workshop is filled with this disgusting stench! I look over, and the right side of Noelle's jacket is covered with the thick, black liquid we had found earlier. She had been taking it to another lab in Belkend to have it looked at. While she was there, someone bumped into her, breaking the seal on the can and spilling it on her jacket. She claims that it didn't start to stink until she was almost to Sherridan. It took the past three days of airing out my workshop to clear it of the stench. Don't even get me started on the interior of the Albiore II. What I don't get is why she didn't just chuck it overboard when it started to smell!

Oh well. The Albiore II should be good in a couple more days. Hopefully by then we'll have an ID on that disgusting stuff!

Projects
We've almost completed the new engine for the Albiore IV! The new designs have worked out well so far! We had made a small model of the engine, and it far exceeded out expectations. I can't wait until we're able to test the new engine!

On other subjects, we've been working on smaller, hand-held protection devices. We finally finished a miniature flamethrower. It's been tested in the field, albeit not under the conditions we were expecting. I was flying a client from Kaitzur to Yulia City when my client insisted that we stop at the Zao Ruins to see some unique structure (he was an archaeologist). He was writing some notes when we were attacked by monsters! Lucky for me I had brought the miniature flamethrower to make adjustments on. It turns out that they are very proficient for fighting as well. After that, I made sure that Noelle had one, too. In any case, they should be on the market soon.

The Albiores
Noelle recently flew a doctor around. As a form of payment, he updated all of the Albiores' medical supplies! This will really be useful, especially for our more *ahem* colorful adventures.
