Perfect:
A perfect is a human being that is slightly more evolved than the average human (normals). Perfects are very few in numbers, ranging from 10- 80 on the small planet of Ulcius. They were discovered in 2998, and are treated as though they are a different species. Most young Perfects, weather they be male or female, are drafted into the military on their 15th birthday.
Some Perfects are late bloomers, living normal lives until the “Perfect” Gene is activated. Perfects live slightly longer than “normals” and have twice the athletic ability. Most Perfects have blue eyes, that seem to glow, and light brown hair. They are segregated from normal students in school, and hated by most of the Normal population. They get a minimal education, but still surpass normals in intelligence.

Chapter Summary:
Chris is fourteen and a half, he goes to a normal high school, and never thought much about perfects. One month before his fifteenth birthday, the “Perfect” Gene is activated within him. He goes from being an unpopular student, to being a hated animal. Chris turns fifteen, and receives a holographic letter ordering him to join the military. Chris despised the military, for on that side of the planet, the military was dead set on keeping all citizens behind the great wall. The wall stretches across the planet, blocking all civilians from entrance or exit. Chris’s parents, both normals, attempted and escape, and in the process, lost their lives to the military. Anyone unauthorized is shot and killed on sight. Chris escaped death by hiding under his parents until the soldiers left the premises. The war started when Harlov began to invade small countries and continents, in a plan to dominate Ulcius. The president of one of the major continents decided to take a stand, and joined with the remaining continents, oddly enough, they stand fighting non stop, almost exactly halfway through the world, hence the wall. Jason remembers the moment his parents were killed, and returns home. He prepares for work, the military, not knowing that he was going to be deployed. Jason was also forced into the military because he is a perfect.
